Espace OPOKO — L’éducation des plus démunis, notre priorité

What we do

Six areas, one method: start from the ground.

Each area answers a concrete obstacle indigenous communities face. They reinforce one another: a birth certificate opens school, school opens access to rights.

Human rights and social inclusion

Fighting discrimination and ensuring communities take part in the decisions that affect them.

Our method

  1. Listen

Assessment with communities, in their language, before any decision.

  2. Co-design

Solutions are defined with settlement chiefs, families and authorities.

  3. Act

Teams present for the long term, often drawn from the communities.

  4. Measure

Tracking indicators and publishing results, including what did not work.

Together, for a more inclusive Congo.
